Method

  1. Brown the Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to a large skillet over medium heat, crumbling it as it cooks. Incorporate the green onions along with garlic powder, kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, sriracha (if using), and soy sauce for flavor enhancement. Once cooked through—typically around 5-7 minutes—remove the beef from the skillet onto a plate.
  2. Sauté the Brussels Sprouts: In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of avocado oil before tossing in the shredded brussels sprouts. Season them with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper then sauté until they become tender and slightly caramelized—approximately 8-10 minutes.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Once the brussels sprouts are ready, return the cooked ground beef back into the skillet along with sweet chili sauce and lime juice. Stir everything together thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly coated in flavorful sauce.
  4. Serve Your Dish: Plate your creation, garnishing it with optional sesame seeds for an added crunch. Serve over rice or any preferred side dishes to complete your meal experience.
