  • 1 whole avocado Sliced, creamy texture that pairs perfectly with shrimp and slaw
  • 8 6-inch tortillas Choose corn or flour based on your preference

Method

  1. Gather all your ingredients together on a clean surface so everything is ready to go before you start cooking.
  2. In a bowl combine the wild-caught shrimp with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder and chili powder ensuring they are evenly coated with seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking; add seasoned shrimp cooking until they turn pink and opaque which should take about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. While the shrimp cooks prepare your creamy slaw by mixing shredded cabbage with Greek yogurt, lime juice from one whole lime and chopped cilantro until well combined.
  5. Once the shrimp is cooked through remove it from heat allowing it to rest briefly before assembling your tacos on warm tortillas.
  6. Layer avocado slices atop each tortilla followed by generous portions of cilantro lime shrimp and creamy slaw then finish off with extra lime wedges on the side for an additional burst of flavor!
